Optimizer 2.0™ Overview

It sounds like the Scorecard 2.0 shows you everything you need to know right?  It shows you what reality is (as the bank defines it), and shows you what reality could be.  What it doesn’t do or show is how specifically to fix the various reports and searches, or how to put the pieces in place that will drive your overall BizScore to the highest level possible.  It doesn’t include any coaching, consulting, or advice.  However, it does give you plenty of information to make a good decision, and will give you confidence in your ability to navigate the submission and approval process.

The Optimizer 3.0 ™ will likely be the most comprehensive and educational analysis of how you and your business are viewed by a financial institution (specifically related to commercial, unsecured, stated income lines of credit or loans).  One of our Senior Credit Analysts will be assigned to your file, and they will prepare your custom report, as well as review the results with you after its delivery to provide any coaching needed to complete the recommendations it gives.  It will be divided into a variety of categories, and in each category our Senior Credit Analyst will organize the feedback as follows: (1) explain why the bank reviews data in the category, (2) where they look for the data, (3) what they want to see when they review the data, (4) what they see when they look at the data specific to you or your business, (5) the resulting difference (if any), and (6) specific instructions on how to improve, correct, or enhance the data. 

Each report used to prepare the analysis will be attached to the Optimizer 3.0 ™ as an addendum, so that as you review the specific information related to your profile, you can view the attachments to reference the comments made.  After going through all of the categories reviewed by the bank (and our Senior Credit Analyst), a Summary of Recommendations will appear.  It will contain each specific piece of instruction given in the various categories on what to work on to improve your rating.  This Summary of Recommendations becomes a “to do” or “task” list for you to complete prior to proceeding with the bank application process. 

What’s the end result?  When you submit your application to the bank for financing, the bank underwriter will go looking, and instead of seeing some things right, and other things wrong, everything they check will be right where it needs to be.  Your rating is near perfect, your approval is virtually guaranteed, and you’ll have a low interest rate attached to the loan.  Bottom line?  Your needs are met.

Optimizer 3.0 ™

You’ve received the results of the Scorecard 2.0 tm, you know how the bank considers your current qualifications, but you also know there are things that you could improve.  You know that if you spend about three days, and fifty bucks, that you could fix all the things the bank is going to look at.  Now what?

RBSL designed the Optimizer as a small business consulting/coaching piece to accomplish the following:

  1. Give specific instructions and help to the business owner on how and where to fix things that are incorrect, erroneous, or absent.
  2. Hold the business owner’s hand throughout the process so that success is assured. 
  3. Make sure the business’ rating is as high as possible prior to submitting bank applications.
  4. Explain to the business owner why the bank looks at each category.
  5. Explain to the business owner what specifically the bank wants to see when they look into each category.
  6. Provide coaching to the business owner on what to say, and what not to say.
  7. Provide contact information and/or loan applications from various recommended lending institutions or banks.  

 

Every business is different.  Every business and business owner has a different set of needs.  The Senior Credit Analyst preparing your Optimizer report will work specifically with your goals in mind.  Not only will they prepare the Optimizer, but they will serve as a coach throughout the process as they will have an incredibly intimate, complete view of you and your business.

What will the Optimizer look like, and how will you receive it?  Here are some details about the Optimizer:

  1. Immediately upon receipt of a complete file, a Business Analyst will pull a variety of reports, conduct a variety of searches, and assemble a file for your business.
  2. A Senior Credit Analyst will be assigned to your file, and they will review it to make sure they have all the information needed to begin.  They will also review the notes entered into the back office system by your account manager (sales rep). 
  3. Your Senior Credit Analyst will call you to have a brief conversation to make sure their perspective of your situation, goals, and interest is accurate.
  4. The Senior Credit Analyst will prepare your customized Optimizer report.
  5. You will receive an email with a link to the RBSL back office leading to your Optimizer (this is how you will access your Optimizer each time you reference it).
  6. Your Senior Credit Analyst will call you to go through the Optimizer with you on the phone, answer questions, and help you get started with your to do list, as well as work with you throughout the process.

You’ve finished everything on the list?  What’s next?  Now it’s time to receive a little coaching on the bank application submission, fill out bank applications, and watch the loan approvals start rolling in.
